Life in Germany is very different.
.
Somehow I slept as early as 9pm and woke up at 4.30 the next morning.
Every morning I see the standard breakfast at the hotel caferia .... Ham, Bacon, Eggs, Sausages, Bread, Cornflakes, Yoggurt, Fruits, Juices, Coffee or Tea.
.
I'm glad to know Madelyn, the Senior Program Manager, who had offered to give me a lift from the hotel to the training centre, back and forth.
Madelyn is a nice lady who is caring and had guided me and shared lots of her experiences.
.
Joe is another nice guy, a trainer and a good listener. He showed patience and support.
It is so true ...
"To relate effectively with people, we must learn to listen and this requires emotional strength. Listening involves patience, openness and the desire to understand."
.
Melinda from Global Service & Marketing, whom I had met earlier when she came to Singapore. She is also a nice lady.
.
I am glad to have this opportunity to work with many wonderful and talented people.
In order to interact effectively with people, I need to learn to listen.
.
In all, I am very lucky to know these people who have kept me company and took care of me during my first week, blur blur in Germany.
