Japan was hit with a massive 8.9m earthquake early Friday afternoon, causing damaging tsunamis along its Pacific Coast with a wave as high as 23 feet.
This is the 5th largest earthquake to hit Japan.
I am relieved to hear my Japanese colleagues and their families are safe, while the tsunami affected coastlines around the Pacific Rim.
