That day was not only my birthday, it was also my one-month in JDSU.
Also on that day, my manager notified me that JDSU top management had approved my trip to Germany for a 3-week Project Pilot 1 & Super User Training in August.
It's unbelievable!
Within a month, I got promoted.
Many opportunities have been given to me to grow.
Knowing my experience, they selected me to be the Gobal Service APAC Super User for P2P Purchasing Functions including Inventory Management and Super User for Service/Contracts, includes Customers Interactions and to train other countries users.
I am happy about this new assignment and excited about my this first major trip.
It's a great challenge!
I will be required to think out of the box and my work is hardly mundane.
But on the other hand, I am worried.
I have never travelled so far before, worry about the weather, the distance and the time difference. Lots of other worries!
I need to get myself ready, mentally and physically.
