The couple was called on stage to give a short speech and to thank their parents.
Thereafter, a question was thrown to the poor groom on the spot.
"When your mum and wife fell into the sea,
who will you save first?"
The groom smiled.
No definite answer as to saving the drowning mum or wife.
In fact, I heard this question many times and always asked the groom, not the bride.
One answered that he will save his mother first, no matter what. Then jump back in to perish with his wife. It will show that he is filial to his mother and also that he loves his wife so much that he is willing to die with her.
Another answered that he will die with both of them.
I personally feel that, in such a real-life panic situation, it is difficult to choose between loved ones.
It is wiser to ensure myself is in a safe-mode, not to risk of making my kids orphans.
Save the one who is nearer to me first, easier to rescue and have a better chance of saving at least one person. In such situation, timing is crucial.
Saving the one who is further away from me, chances of surviving for all are low.
What do you think?
