Today I'm not going to share topics like
"Merging Oceans" and "Glory Drain Holes".
Instead, I like to touch on the Importance of Communications.
Ask any employer or CEO about the key skills they look for in an employee. More often than not, is Effective Communication skills, besides other job specific requirements. It doesn't matter which position we hold, we need to communicate well.
Effective Communication is an important facet of our personal and professional lives. Unfortunately, its true significance and importance are often overlooked.
This is because people sometimes erroneously think it as a set of standalone skill.
We need to communicate our ideas across effectively so that they can make an impact. The aim is to engage the people and to establish connection.
Being able to speak well and strategically will not only help to bridge the gap between people, it will also help to build up our image as a strong and steady personality.
Speak from our heart and share our values and experiences.
Impress people with our ability to think on our feet by addressing their responses effectively.
Have a bigger purpose in mind when we speak.
Change the world by thinking differently.
Position ourselves as an expert.
Read and research widely and deeply into topics we will be sharing.
People will appreciate the time spent with us, simply because they have benefited from our knowledge and experience. And we can be sure that they will be sharing their positive feeling about us with like-minded friends on social media like Facebook or Twitter.
