Lead with Humility

Today, I am sharing with you about a book "Good to Great",
author Jim collins
This book introduces a new term - Level 5 Leadership.
 


Level 5 refers to the highest level in the hierarchy of executive capabilities.
Level 5 leaders are modest and wilful, shy and fearless.
Leaders at level 5 are able to elevate companies from mediocrity to sustained excellence.
According to Collins, humility is a key ingredient of Level 5 leadership.

Formula: Humility + Will = Level 5

Today's leaders are faced with constant change driven by a shifting globalised economy and rapid advances in IT and Social Media.

This period of uncertainty and opportunity is forcing organizations to reshape or to restructure.
Organizations need to critically evaluate their recruitment processes, performance management, succession planning, training and development.

Effective global leadership is too important to be left to chance.
Organizations need "Level 5" leaders who demonstrate humility, possess emotional mastery and integrity and have a global outlook.
Take a thoughtful long-term approach to build effective leadership will out-perform others in their industry.
