Make Our Smart Goals‏

All of us set goals, such as losing weight, quit smoking, saving more money or getting a higher pay job.

Frequently, however those goals are not achieved as they are not sufficiently concrete.
They are just a desire or a wish that do not have concrete expression.
So we have to set SMART Goals and making them concrete and positive.

S = Specific
Simple & Sensory-Based goal needs to be defined as precisely as possible.
Something we can see, hear and/or feel it.
What exactly we want?

M = Measurable
What measures will we put in place to tell if we are half way to achieving our goal?

A = Achievable & Action
Concentrate on what we need to do to achieve our goal.
Take action, break big goal into smaller ones to achieve one at a time.
Is the goal completely not within our control?

R = Realistic & Resources
A realistic goal is a 'do-able" and within our skill-set and available resources.
What is stopping us from achieving our goal?

T = Timed & Take Action
Goal must be timed and must have a deadline.
When a goal is timed, it adds a sense of urgency to it.
Most importantly, to achieve a goal, we must take action.
Take the necessary first step and go for it!

"A journey of a thousand miles must begin with a first step."

Starting with the end in mind not only keeps us focused and motivated, but also will open our mind to all opportunities that may assist in the achievement of our goal.
